The company is supporting Crosscare, a social care services provider based in Dublin through the donation of €10,000, three food bank services in the North of Ireland via a donation of £30,000 and a contribution of €35,000 to the annual Black Santa Appeal.

Energia Group has provided ongoing support for several community-based organisations as part of the company’s commitment to communities across Ireland. The Group has lent its support to a number of charities whose aim is to care for and look after those facing difficult circumstances and challenging times.

Crosscare helps and serves those that are homeless and who are struggling to find accommodation, while also providing a community-based café in Portland Row, which is open to the public.

The company is continuing to support food banks in Antrim, Belfast, Omagh and Dublin. As part of the donations, Energia Group has helped to ensure that the essential services offered by the organisation continue all year round, helping those that need it most.

Energia has also pledged its support to the annual Black Santa sit-out appeal. The event which gets its name from the long, heavy black cloaks worn by those that are participating seeks to raise vital funds for several charities. This year’s appeal will have a focus on charities who are helping younger people who have particular needs in the community.
