In 2022, as part of the company’s broader strategy of supporting all employees through every life stage and fostering a culture of inclusivity, the Group introduced two women’s health policies, Pregnancy Loss and Fertility Treatment, as well as a manager’s guidance document to support women through the Menopause. In the last year, the Group has continued to deliver initiatives focusing on fostering an inclusive workplace. These initiatives include the Group’s partnership with Riley, an eco-friendly company that is providing free period care products to all Energia Group employees across its offices in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The Group has also rolled out of the Read & Write software to all its employees, a tool designed to support neurodiverse employees by offering help with everyday tasks like reading text out loud, understanding unfamiliar words, researching assignments and proofing written work.
These measures are just some of the initiatives being implemented by Energia Group, and are part of its wider sustainability strategy aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, including SDG 8: Decent Work & Economic Growth and SDG 5: Gender Equality.
