Energia Powers Tayto Park: Ireland’s Largest Theme Park

Tayto Park recently signed a new two-year deal with Energia Group to supply 1.3 Gigawatt hours of electricity each year.

Energia Group are proud to be powering the best fun in the country! Tayto Park is Ireland’s largest and most successful theme park – and home of ‘The Cú Chulainn Coaster’, Europe’s largest wooden rollercoaster with an inversion.

But all those great days out need to be powered by somebody, which is why Tayto Park recently signed a new two-year deal with Energia Group to supply 1.3 Gigawatt hours of electricity each year. The energy will help to power the park’s numerous big rides - all major consumers of electricity!

Tayto Park is the perfect day out for all the family with attractions for all ages. Apart from the aforementioned Cú Chúlainn Coaster, visitors can try their hand at rock climbing or sky walking, take a tour around the legendary Tayto crisp factory (source of the world’s first flavoured crisp!) or even visit the Tayto Park zoo.

Niamh Reynolds, Marketing Manager at Tayto Park said: “We’re one of Ireland’s most popular attractions and we need lots of electricity to keep both our theme park and zoo running smoothly. Energia has been able to offer us an unrivalled mix of value, energy expertise and customer service. It was a straightforward choice to sign with them.”

Alison Curran, Key Account Manager, Energia commented: “We offer the same great value energy costs and first class customer service and expertise to Irish businesses of all size and in all sectors. We’re delighted to be signing up Tayto Park. They join almost 60,000 other Irish businesses who are customers of Energia.”
