The Coolberrin Wind Farm site is located near Emyvale in the County Monaghan townlands of Greagh, Dernadariff, Cornahieve, Aghamackalinn, Luppan, Derryrellan, Cavan (Moutray) and Drumbirn.

Community benefit fund
We want local people to see and feel the benefit of renewable energy through our wind farm benefit funds, which support community groups, voluntary organisations and environmental projects situated near our wind farms.
All our benefit funds are designed to meet the needs of the local area and are administered by an independent charitable foundation on behalf of Energia. We operate our funds in accordance with Wind Energy Ireland (formerly IWEA) best practice and project grants are made available after one year of wind farm operation.
