July 2026

Energia Renewables and Suir Engineering have started construction works on the site of the Fieldstown 110 kV Substation, near Rolestown.

This substation will connect three nearby Energia solar farm developments to the electricity network at Finglas 110 kV Substation via a 13.3 km underground cable.

Together, these solar farm developments will help Ireland reach its renewable electricity targets, reducing our reliance on fossil fuels and increasing security of energy supply.
